GDI Injectors vs Port Injectors Diagnostic | GDi & MPi Injectors Waveform with Oscilloscope

🎯 In this video I explain how to diagnose GDi and MPi Injectors using an oscilloscope. I explain how to set up the oscilloscope on two different cars with different fuel injection systems, one with MPi (Multipoint Fuel Injection) and the second one with GDi (Gasoline Direct Fuel Injection). The waveforms on these two fuel systems are completely different, so it's very important to know how we can read the waveforms and how to analyze them to be able to diagnose the injectors. This video was made on a KIA Rio 2012 (for GDI Injector) and Suzuki Alto 2011 (For MPI Injector), and oscilloscope I used was MICSIG ATO1004. Note: Please not that the waveform on the GDi injector in this video on the low-side of the wiring is showing the NO Injection timing, the high side is the same all the time though.
