Trees cracked under sudden ice. The grass turned white and brittle. Snow fell in thick sheets, and cold wind howled like wolves through the streets. It wasn’t winter. It was the beginning of a new Ice Age. Massive glaciers crashed through towns. Buildings vanished under mountains of snow. People scattered, searching for warmth, but everything was turning into a frozen desert. AumSum didn’t run. He grabbed his emergency backpack and headed to the library, where old books and maps were stored in the basement. There, he discovered an ancient legend. It spoke of an ancient Ice Crystal buried in the Arctic - a crystal that had the power to control world temperatures. If disturbed, it could unleash endless winter.
