Stephen's Railway Adventures - January 2026

We begin at Northallerton, and take a look at some of the DRS and Freightliner services diverted along the ECML due to the closure of the WCML for the renewal of the bridge over the M6. We also take a look at Knottingley, both at the station and Knottingley South Junction. We finish with 70005 on the line between Selby and Temple Hirst, working 6E25 from Dowlow to Heck on the first day of Heavy Haul Rail Limited operating after splitting from Freightliner.
