Description

The movie follows the story of a man who chases his dream of becoming a movie director. Along the way, he faces a series of social and financial obstacles that push him into an uncomfortable reality, forcing him to make a choice between stability, passion, or something else entirely. Teodor (Director): This is the first movie I have ever made, but I had this vision a long, long time ago. The film was inspired by my love for aviation, cinema, business, and life experience. The movie took me one year to make, including writing, directing, acting, filming, and creating all the CGI shots, while working a full-time VFX job. The script was originally written as a mini-series, but I only had the personal budget and time to produce one episode. Yes, the film is a mix of CGI and live-action F-35A shots. Clearly, no one is going to let me fly an F-35, even if I had the money. Even so, CGI is a great tool that helps directors tell stories. As someone who has worked in the VFX industry for the past 15 years, I am a strong supporter of visual effects. That’s why we often talk about “the magic of cinema.” Production Details 🎭 Cast Smith - Teodor Dimitrov Barbara - Barbara Hloskova Maya - Tereza Kopecka Johnson - Justin Scholtermeyer Olivia - Livia Kovats 🎬 Extras Soldier 1 - Kiril Kalchev Soldier 2 - Nikolay Velinov Police man 1 - Kiril Kalchev Police man 2 - Honza Hudoba Audience 1 - Adrian Audience 2 - Melissa Tosti 🎥 Filmed on Canon R6 Mark II and Canon M50 with Sigma Cine and Prime lenses 🧩 CGI created in Blender, Maya, and Redshift 🎞️ Compositing done in DaVinci Fusion ✂️ Final edit and color grading in DaVinci Resolve 💰 Total budget: €6,000 (personal funding) Including equipment rental, costumes, locations, catering, actors, and software subscriptions. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————— 💬 Have questions or comments❓We’d love to hear from you!
