The move is part of Xi’s sweeping anti-corruption campaign that has disciplined more than 200,000 officers and removed nearly 160 generals over the past decade. But two key figures remain untouched: Central Military Commission Vice Chairman Zhang Youxia and Joint Staff Chief Liu Zhenli. Despite rumors of investigation, the NPC has not revoked their delegate status. Why the silence?
