"A landmark in animation history!" 🎨🎹 Before the "Silly Symphonies" took over the world in full color, there was Flip the Frog in "Fiddlesticks." Released in 1930, this film was a technical marvel, being the first cartoon to use the two-strip Technicolor process and synchronized sound. Produced by the legendary Ub Iwerks, this short follows Flip as he performs a musical duet with a fiddle-playing mouse (who looks suspiciously like a certain famous mouse Ub helped create!).
