Here’s something that surprises many people.
Jesus told the twelve apostles something very
specific.
“Go not into the way of the Gentiles… but go rather
to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Now think about that.
If the gospel in Matthew was already for the whole
world, why would Jesus say don’t go to the Gentiles?
Because at that time God’s program was focused on
Israel.
But later, the risen Lord saved the apostle Paul and
sent him to the Gentiles with the gospel of the grace
of God.
That is why the Bible tells us to rightly divide the
word of truth.
