Sony Just Killed Physical Media

Sony just announced that starting 2028, they will stop production on physical discs for PlayStation, meaning they are going fully digital. Microsoft/Xbox will likely follow suit. PC is already there. Nintendo Switch 2 is now the only platform with physical media, but I foresee that disappearing soon. This comes in right after Sony announced the removal of over 550 digital movies from customers' libraries. This shit is dystopian. We will own nothing. Thank goodness for emulators.
