This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT, more rugged, 3-row, mid-size, SUV. Looking for a more capable and off-road inspired Palisade design? Look no further than the new XRT Pro! The 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT is powered by a 3.5L V6 with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 287 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque standard AWD. The 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT has black exterior accents, an XRT front grille, an exclusive front and rear lower bumper, dark 18” XRT wheels with all-terrain tires and black roof rails which can hold 220 pounds when driving. It has 8.4” of ground clearance, an inch more than other Palisade models. What makes the 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT more capable? It has a rear electronic limited slip differential, an offroad mode, standard AWD with terrain modes for snow, mud and sand, downhill brake control, tow mode, an OEM tow hitch and front and rear recovery hooks. Tow mode holds lower gears longer and reduces shift frequency when towing heavier loads. The 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT Pro is a 7-passenger SUV, there is no bench seat offering. Its more rugged design carries into the interior with black leatherette upholstery, XRT branded seats, XRT badging on the dash and you get a conventional sunroof, the dual panel is not available. As with all Palisades, the seats are comfortable, the visibility is excellent, storage is well done and the infotainment system is easy to use with excellent graphics. The 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT comes well equipped with dual 12.3” screens with navigation, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, 14-speaker Bose sound system, leatherette upholstery, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, 8-way power driver and passenger seats, driver seat memory, heated second row seats, a sunroof and smart power liftgate. In the US, some of these features are not available on the XRT model. In Canada, 2026 Hyundai palisade XRT pricing includes, freight, PDI and fees, the XRT Pro $60,831 and in the US, MSRP, the XRT Pro is $49,870.
