Giant River Otter Cubs

When I was at Chester last October I heard rumours about the female Giant Otter being pregnant, when I went in early March she'd given birth but the cubs were still in the den. This time I was lucky and caught them playing with their parents, Bonita and Manu. Giant River Otters are a South American species, reaching up to 1.8 m in length. They were poached in for their fur, the wild populations now greatly diminished. The throat markings are unique to each individual.
