One million Iranian soldiers 'READY TO FIGHT' warns Tehran as Trump may send 10,000 to Middle East

Iran has more than one million soldiers ready for action if Donald Trump were launch a full-scale land invasion, a military source in Tehran has claimed. It comes as Israel launched a wave of strikes on the country today ahead of a planned UN Security Council meeting to discuss attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure. The Israeli military said it struck sites "in the heart of Tehran" used by Iran to produce ballistic missiles and other weapons. The US has meanwhile been pushing Iran to begin negotiating on a 15-point proposal for a ceasefire, but has still ordered thousands more of its troops to the region, possibly in preparation for a military attempt to wrest the Strait of Hormuz from Iran's tight grip. Donald Trump yesterday took aim at NATO allies, saying they have done "absolutely nothing" to help the US in its war on Iran, which he called a "lunatic nation". He wrote on Truth Social: "The USA needs nothing from NATO, but 'never forget' this very important point in time."
