It’s taken me over a decade to build this lineup. Collecting, building, modifying — and learning — it all adds up over time. Today, my son Maurice and I finally get to lay out part of our RC construction equipment collection. These are the machines that have shaped our projects, our creativity, and our curiosity. Just like any car enthusiast with their collection of rides, functional scale construction equipment has become one of my favorite parts of the RC hobby. I love to tinker, and honestly, sometimes I just like to sit and stare at them. Some were ready-to-run. Others, heavily modified. And a few were just wild experiments I wanted to bring to life. Every machine has a purpose. Every one earned its spot. This video showcases 13 different models, each with its own story. Many are hydraulic. Some are rare. A few are just too cool not to share. We even put some on the scale — and the heaviest came in at over 70 lbs. That’s not just scale… that’s serious mass. It’s one thing to see these rigs move dirt, it’s another to feel the weight behind them. Most of these machines were built or reworked by me (RCSparks) over the years. I don’t sell them.
