One click, and your heated seat buttons go "Dead." 🖱️🛑 Testing the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica, our own Sami Haj-Assaad stumbled upon a bizarre software quirk in the Uconnect 5 system. Normally, the shortcuts for the heated and ventilated seats are "anchored" in the top corners of the 10.1-inch screen, making them easy to tap at any time. However, the moment you open the full Climate Control tab, those anchor buttons stop responding. To adjust your seats, you have to look for a different set of icons within the climate menu itself. It’s a redundant, confusing bit of UI design that turns a simple one-tap job into a distracting multi-step process.
