The Daily Telegraph’s Tim Blair has reacted to the explosive claims made in a new book about Brigitte Macron slapping her husband, the French President, in a moment caught on camera last year which went viral. “It was a steamy text,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “Now, by the way, just being slapped in the face by a lady in France is a war crime ... and also we should be on careful legal notice not to refer to the French First Lady as a slapper.”
