Description

Erasure is Andy Bell and Vince Clarke who played keyboards for Depeche Mode and Yazoo (Yaz in the US: "Situation" and "Don't Go") and began their career in 1986. The first album did not have any hits, but the magic started on album #2, 1987's "Circus" that propelled them into the mainstream. A slew of hits followed and a song from their third album "Chains Of Love" broke them in the US. The next song issued was "A Little Respect" and it became a #4 pop hit in the US. They had much more success in the UK with their releases typically went Top 5. If you don't have it, you should get their greatest hits CD, if you like synth based pop dance music, Andy Bell has one of those really great pop voices that really warms up every song they do.
