My thoughts on the GAMEOVERSE PILOT

Did you know this in Gameoverse? Today the pilot for glitch’s next indie series gameoverse released. Is it any good? Let’s talk about it. So the pilot takes place right after the show’s trailer. We learn that in this universe when the hero beats the villain the game’s world self destructs. Kit kaboodle and gobbles go to a new planet to prevent flappers from winning, but they end up failing due to the villains. The end of the pilot ends on a sombre note with flappers having joined the team, and the group of villains ready to stop them. So i actually really enjoyed it. The animation and art style is gorgeous, even the end credits is packed full of awesome details. My favourite thing has to be the voice cast, they were wonderful. Glitch nailed the casting here, i love them all. Erica lindbeck as kit was an amazing choice, but i really liked jschlatt as kaboodle he leads to alot of the shows comedy. I also think the characterisation was on point, they were all really fun and memorable, even the villains too. The writing, dialogue and story was all spot on too, no complaints there. So is there anything wrong with it? Well for me i think it’s just the pacing. The pilot is basically 30 minutes but some scenes go by super fast while others are quite slow. The ending especially is a little abrupt. I also think viewers who somehow haven’t seen the trailer would be left confused. Like if you haven’t watched it you wouldn’t know how gobbles ended up in the group. So what do you think? Did you enjoy gameoverse?
