Gianni Infantino Presents President Trump With Fifa Peace Prize

England were drawn in a World Cup group with Croatia, Panama and Ghana for next summer’s tournament at a two-hour ceremony in Washington built around President Trump. Hailed as being the “greatest event that humanity has ever seen” by the Fifa president Gianni Infantino, the tournament will pit Scotland against Brazil, Morocco and Haiti. Wales and Northern Ireland are in a qualifying play-off involving Italy and Bosnia in March, and will face Canada, Qatar and Switzerland if one of them makes it to the tournament. The draw means England will play Croatia in their first game, reviving memories of the 2018 World Cup semi-final clash which England lost in extra time.
