Watch as I help mommy control the head as she pushes her baby out. I usually encourage mommies to put their hand on baby’s head to help control the push to minimize tearing. Sometimes they tell me to do it instead. Sometimes depending on mommies position, the head will butt up against the clitoris and tear the labia. So what you will see in the beginning is me guarding her from the baby’s head. Then controlling the stretch as much as possible. Is this done on every momma? NO! Every momma’s situation is different!
