TS BASYANG (PENHA) Update - Thursday, 02/05/26 (English Ver)

TS BASYANG now a Storm with international name PENHA, barreling closer to Eastern Mindanao, with winds of 75 kph near the center. Its thick convective rainbands are displaced across Central, Northern and Western Mindanao and into Visayas as it is expected to make landfall over Caraga Region tonight and will traverse North-Central Mindanao through Northern Mindanao through tomorrow morning. BASYANG will emerge along the coastal waters of Cagayan De Oro tomorrow morning. This cyclone is expected to bring moderate to heavy to at time intense torrential rainfall tonight and tomorrow across Mindanao and Visayas.
