Description

Epson put a counter in their ink jet printers which supposedly counts according to the printer's discharge of waste ink. Once it considers that the pad(s) which absorb the waste ink are full the printer then stops working and Epson advise replacing it which is a very questionable business practice in today's consideration of environmental awareness. It often prevents a perfectly usable item being used as a visit to a service technician is likely to cost more than a replacement. In fact it is likely to be able to be done as a DIY job for free as shown in this video. Hope it helps.
