Description

Is this a mini stark varg electric bike? This is the all new Electro and co RTR ready to rip electric pit bike aimed at teens and adults... but have they gone and created a mini stark varg....and an electric 65 motocross bike in the process? The motocross world was missing something - an electric bike to follow on from the E5 to fill that gap until riders are big enough for the full sized stark varg electric motocross bike.... once they outgrew the E5 they were kinda forced onto a petrol 65... or to big wheel a 50 or the E5 (though we found as Harley got older and heavier the battery wasn't lasting much beyond 20min on the E5 so no point big wheeling that) We decided to go down the 65 route... even going as far as to try pick the smallest and lowest powered y5, the KX65... you know what they say 'make a slow bike go fast' - the KX65 is no joke, it's a lot of bike for a 6 year old! At first Harley loved his KX, but when he had an accident on it back in December and broke his leg he broke his confidence at the same time. Ever since his crash we've been trying to build his confidence back up... with no luck. Until we got hold of this bike from Electro and co. Day one riding this bike he was back to his usual self - full of confidence and having so much fun on the track! The bike sits taller than the 65 - but has a slimmer body, better for a smaller rider to grip the bike. It's also lighter than the 65 is making it easier for a smaller rider to control. There is no 'power band' - just continuous smooth power and no gears. The battery lasts around 1hr on a full charge, with the standard battery and charger combo taking around 4hrs to recharge. The only changes we feel are needed are softer springs for the suspension and upgrading the battery (We're getting hold of a spare battery a fast charger for this going forward) - we can't wait to see how much fun Harley has on this bike!
