Doctor Who is dead and gone and now the creatives that drove it into the ground are admitting defeat. Director Peter Hoar details how even with the influx of money from Disney couldn't make a difference in terms of salvaging the fundamentally broken show. Russell T. Davies was successful in destroying the franchise he resurrected in 2005 and the Christmas special that is supposed to air this year may indeed serve as its eulogy.
