Miles’ story is about survival, trust, and transformation. 🐾 After years living on the streets of southern Italy, this senior rescue arrived with powerful instincts — but also deep survival habits around food and safety. In this episode, I help Miles rebuild trust through calm leadership and clear structure. Street dogs often come with inner balance, but they still need direction to adapt to family life. During feeding time, I explain one of my golden rules: “You never feed an excited one — you always feed a calm one.” That calm energy becomes the pattern the dog repeats for life. Then comes the real test — finding Miles the right forever home. Multiple adopters meet him, but not everyone passes. I watch for unity, confidence, and consistency — because dogs don’t follow love alone; they follow leadership. When the right family finally steps forward, they give Miles exactly what he’s been searching for: structure, peace, and a sense of belonging.
