But let’s be honest, the design was bloody awful. But now the Neue Klasse version is here with this new LCI update, BMW has addressed exactly that. A redesigned front end, improved proportions, and a much stronger identity bring the 7 Series back in line with what a #Luxury  flagship BMW should look like. But this isn’t just a cosmetic update as underneath, the 7 Series is now sitting in a transition phase between BMW’s current generation and the upcoming Neue Klasse architecture. That means updated battery tech with cylindrical cells, improved efficiency, and over 700km of WLTP range in the i7 — while still retaining a full range of combustion and plug-in hybrid powertrains. And it’s not the 7 alone that will get this, as BMW has confirmed it will update all of its model portfolio to reflect this! This is just the beginning. In this video, we take a full walkaround of both the Pure Excellence and M Sport models, including the epic M760e in a lovely dual paint finis! I’ll also break down the design changes, and go through every powertrain — from the diesel and inline-six petrols, through to the 750e, M760e, and the i7 lineup.
