Mr. Typhoon's Tagalog Update: Mayo 06-08, 2026 (Miyerkoles-Biyernes) The strong LPA known as “Invest 93W” has gradually strengthened into a Tropical Cyclone last night, and has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm with international name as “HAGUPIT”. Majority of the Global Typhoon Models are showing the system passing over Palau on Saturday while entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Uncertainty remains high by early next week on whether the storm will weaken with a track closer to Bicol and Northern Samar on Tuesday (May 12) or maintain its intensity.
