Kodaline - 'Sometimes' (Soundcheck session from the forest)

This is the last of the three 'Sometimes' sessions we recorded a while back, filmed on a lovely day near our studio while recording the new album.. 🌳 Look out for more news on that coming up, and watch out for the video for Saving Grace that so many of you have been helping us with, coming next week! Sometimes is a song I wrote while on tour in Asia last year. I had a really bad day dealing with my own anxiety issues and I kind of let it get the better of me. I started writing the song in my hotel room to help me calm down, music has always helped me in that way. For me Its a song about accepting the bad days and trying to stay positive. I still have the odd bad day but over the years and through CBT therapy I’ve learned to get a better handle on it. I suppose the main thing I’m trying to say here is that it’s important to be open about these things and to seek help if you need it.
