BREAKING NEWS: SHOOT OUT IN NLEX BOCAUE

Three suspected members of an organized robbery-holdup gang were injured and captured following a brief gun battle with Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) operatives at the southbound lane of the Bocaue Toll Plaza on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) this Friday afternoon, June 26. According to PRO-3 Regional Director PBGen. Jess Mendez, the tactical operation was launched after police tracked a gateway vehicle linked to a string of recent minimart robberies across Pampanga and Tarlac. As SWAT teams blocked the tollgate to intercept the vehicle, the armed suspects allegedly opened fire, forcing officers to retaliate. The three wounded suspects were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and are now under tight police custody.
