Description
It rained heavily after 1pm, so the little boy's exercise class, which was scheduled to start at 2:30pm, was cancelled. Some girls were crying.
I changed the little boy's focus to bird watching.
We went to Kogawa Port, Kiyagawa River, and Tajiriharahama to watch wild birds.
The Eurasian Coot, which was not seen at Kogawa Port in the summer, had returned, but was not seen today.
When we went to Kiyagawa River, there it was.
Next, we saw a cormorant? It's hard to tell the difference between a cormorant and a great cormorant.
There was also a white wagtail.
Last week there were about 20 spot-billed ducks in the river at Tajiriharahama, but today there were only six.
Birds that were not there in the summer have returned.
It's strange that even though they are resident birds, there are times when they disappear.
Maybe it's so hot that they go to a cooler place nearby to escape the summer heat?
