LIVE:ବଡ଼ ଅଘଟଣ ସକାଳୁ ଜଳିଗଲା ବସ୍ | Bus Catches Fire in Angul | Odia News | Angul District |Odia News A major fire broke out in a passenger bus near Khemela under Khamar Police Station in Odisha's Angul district late at night. The Seema passenger bus was travelling from Rourkela to Kendrapada when it reportedly caught fire due to a suspected short circuit on National Highway-149. Around 40 passengers managed to escape safely before the fire spread, preventing any loss of life. However, passengers' luggage and personal belongings were completely destroyed in the blaze. Firefighters from Pallahara and Barkote Fire Services rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after several hours. Khamar Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
