Description
The 2026 @toyotausa Tundra Limited Nightshade is built for one thing, and it does it extremely well: towing. With the i-FORCE MAX twin-turbo hybrid V6, a 6.5-foot bed, and the full tow package, this feels like a true Texas highway workhorse.
It’s not how I’d spec mine. The long bed and tow mirrors make life easier when pulling a trailer, but not so much in town or off-road. That said, the Nightshade package looks clean, the interior is comfortable, and that full-width roll-down rear window is still one of my favorite features in any truck.
Then there’s the power. With 437 hp and 583 lb-ft, this thing moves. I saw mid-6-second 0–60 runs in 2WD, but in 4 High and Sport mode, it dropped to a best of 5.75 seconds. That’s seriously quick for a full-size pickup.
If towing is your priority, this Tundra absolutely delivers. For me, I’d go shorter bed, but there’s no denying how capable this setup is.
