Just Chili Seeds And Few Stones? Why Didn't I Know How to Grow This Chili Sooner! I saved some chili seeds from my last harvest, dried them well, and kept them in a cool, airy place. Before planting, I soaked the seeds in water for about 3–4 hours — that’s all it took to get them ready. The stones? Just some I picked up along the roadside! I never thought I could grow chilies this way.
