This video tells the story of Mohammad Deepak, a shopkeeper from Kotdwar, who chose to stand with his Muslim neighbour when a mob demanded that the word “Baba” be removed from a shop name. Deepak did not shout slogans. He did not provoke anyone. He simply said one line: “My name is Mohammad Deepak.” That one sentence became an act of courage. Since then, Deepak has faced multiple FIRs, threats, and fear so real that he had to send his young daughter away to the village for safety. This is the cost of moral courage in a society where silence feels safer than solidarity. History remembers moments like this — from Tiananmen Square’s Tank Man to countless unnamed individuals who stood alone so that humanity didn’t lose completely. This video is not about religion. It is about fear, courage, and what happens when ordinary people stop speaking up. If we don’t protect people like Deepak today, tomorrow courage itself will become a minority.
