It’s Barbie’s happy place. In this DIY project, we turn her dream into a nightmare. We use paint, custom sculpted miniature props, flickering candles, spiders, and spooky digital video effects to give Barbie’s dreamhouse a makeover into a scary haunted house. It’s all powered by an Arduino Uno R4. We take inspiration from classic horror movies and TV shows like Scream, Stranger Things, The Ring, and Arachnophobia. You’ll see Samara coming out of the TV, Ghostface is stalking Casey in the kitchen, and a possessed Barbie is summoning monsters with her magic circle in the Living Room.
