Erstflug nach Frankfurt: Zweiter Tintin-Airbus! Brussels Airlines A320 OO-SNJ mit Tim-und-Struppi

Der Airbus A320 von Brussels Airlines ist eine besondere Hommage an die weltberühmten „Tim und Struppi“-Comics des belgischen Zeichners Hergé (1907–1983). Mit der aufwendig gestalteten Sonderlackierung würdigt die Airline die Kultfigur Tintin, die als einer der bedeutendsten kulturellen Exporte Belgiens gilt. Im deutschsprachigen Raum sind die Geschichten als „Tim-und-Struppi“-Abenteuer bekannt. Das neue Design greift Elemente aus dem Comic-Universum auf und ist vom Entdeckergeist der Figur inspiriert. Im Mittelpunkt steht das dynamische „Gravity“-Thema, das laut Brussels Airlines Fantasie, Neugier und Abenteuerlust symbolisiert. Der 2007 gebaute Airbus A320 mit der Kennung OO-SNJ erweitert die „Belgian Icon“-Flotte der Airline. Mit diesem Konzept präsentiert Brussels Airlines das belgische Erbe sowie Kunst und Kultur durch auffällige Speziallackierungen. Die Bemalung des Flugzeugs wurde im britischen Teesside umgesetzt. Zu den ersten Zielen im neuen Look zählten unter anderem Frankfurt und Mailand, letzteres als einer der Austragungsorte der diesjährigen Olympischen Winterspiele.
