There design is ancient looking almost as if a mammal had been crossed with a reptile. More commonly seen on the side of highways and in front lawns, armadillos often will take refuge under houses, sheds and decks and have found a perfect niche for there survival in suburbia. Having visited some rural towns throughout Mexico, the Armadillo will often end up on the dinner plate and is regarded as a staple bush meat in some locations.
