Prices of the Punch start from Rs. 5.99 lakh and go up to Rs. 10.55 lakh. The 2026 Punch is 3876mm long, 1742mm wide and 1615mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Punch has a 2445mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile. The 2026 Tata Punch has a fuel tank capacity of 37 litres and a boot space measuring 366 litres (210L w/ CNG). The Punch has a ground clearance of 193mm. The tyre size of the 2026 Punch base model is 185/70 R15 and the top model rides on 195/60 R16 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency. Having bigger wheels means more metal and more rotating mass. Therefore, it adversely impacts your drivability, performance and mileage. The Tata Punch offers a range of engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.2-liter CNG engine and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. The 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers maximum power of 88PS at 6000rpm and 115Nm of peak torque between 3150rpm and 3350rpm, paired with a choice of 5-speed MT manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission . The 1.2-liter CNG engine is paired with a choice of 5-speed MT manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission and generates 74PS of maximum power at 6000rpm and 103Nm of peak torque at 3250rpm. The 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine provides 120PS of maximum power at 5500rpm and 170Nm of peak torque between 1750rpm and 4000rpm is available with a 6-speed MT manual transmission only.
