Mudit, a man in his twenties, arrives in Benares to find a place to cremate his dying grandmother. Unfamiliar with death, he is shaken by the constant funeral processions and the heavy air of mortality. Amid the chants of 'Ram Naam Satya Hai', a chance encounter with a stranger on the ghats of the Ganga alters the course of his journey.
