The 2027 Nissan Frontier Sport Edition has officially arrived, and it may be the sweet spot of the entire Frontier lineup. Nissan added rugged styling, all terrain tires, yellow interior accents, and kept the naturally aspirated V6 that truck fans still love. In this video, we take a closer look at the all new 2027 Nissan Frontier Sport Edition Package and everything it brings to the midsize truck segment. Nissan positioned this package between the SV and Pro 4X trims, giving buyers a tougher and more aggressive truck without going fully off road focused. The new Frontier Sport Edition receives an aluminum skid plate, 17 inch off road wheels, Hankook Dynapro all terrain tires, LED fog lights, front accent lighting, black exterior trim pieces, and exclusive yellow Sport graphics. Inside, Nissan added yellow contrast stitching throughout the cabin for a more customized appearance. Under the hood, the Frontier continues using its naturally aspirated 3.8 liter V6 engine producing 310 horsepower and 310 pound feet of torque paired with a 9 speed automatic transmission. The truck can also tow up to 7,150 pounds, making it one of the last midsize trucks offering a traditional V6 experience without hybrid technology or turbochargers.
