Description

Today we are talking about one of the quirkiest, weirdest, most interesting lenses I have ever owned or tested out! This is the Laowa 10mm f2.8 Zero D Sony Lens. I've gotta say, I'm impressed. You can see the chapters below if you'd like to skip to the parts. I didn't cover it in the video, but I did notice some serious focus breathing issues as unfortunately focus breathing compensation doesn't allow for non native Sony lens. Chapter: 0:00 - Intro 0:30 - it's size and AF (with photo samples) 0:58 - Why I chose this lens and it's filter size 1:26 - Why I didn't get the 12mm Laowa 1:46 - Zero distortion on this lens 2:09 - showing the Laowa in action at a park 3:03 - The three main reasons I love this lens (going into detail) (also breathing focus issues - noticed during edit) 4:02 - Why you'll love this lens 4:38 - Pricing 5:20 - Great lens but probably more specialised 5:30 - vlogging with it to show how it works 6:04 - Inside the car vlogging to showcase how wide it is 6:36 - showing the difference between, 16mm, 20mm, 24, 35mm and then finally 10mm to see how drastic of a difference it is. 7:41 - Minimum focus distance 7:53 - Why I picked it up 8:14 - this is specialised 8:42 - 16mm doesn't feel wide comparing it to this 9:08 - pricing isn't cheap by any means - close to GM prime prices 9:26 - final verdict 9:58 - Outro #review #cinematography #foryoushorts
