Description

Today we're out in the paddock to see if we can revive a true Aussie workhorse - a TK Bedford cattle truck that's been forgotten and left to the elements, sitting for years. These old trucks were once the backbone of the Australian bush, but this one has been sitting so long it's practically become part of the landscape. Before we even touched the ignition, we had a bit of a shock in the cab. Draped right across the seat was a massive Eastern Brown snake skin, one of the most deadliest snakes in the world. It definitely keeps you on your toes when you're reaching under the dash. We didn't let a bit of snake skin stop us, so we got straight into the mechanicals. We checked the oil for any nasty surprises, bypassed the stale fuel with a supplementary tank and topped up the water to see if the radiator would actually hold. Then it was a matter of cleaning up the electrical system and crusty terminals to see if we could get ignition. It's the ultimate test of vintage engineering versus the harsh Australian bush. Will the TK fire up and roar back to life, or has she hauled her last load? Settle in and join us for this Will it Start episode showing the first start attempt in many, many years. Thanks for watching.
