Leadbeater's possum magical new home!

More than a decade in the making a mixed pair of Leadbeater’s Possums are settling into a new habitat next to Healesville Sanctuary igniting hope for this Victorian Faunal Emblem which is a critically endangered species. For the first time, Lowland male Mercury and Highland female Narvi [pron: Nar-vee] have been released into the Coranderrk Bushland Nature Conservation Reserve (adjoining the Sanctuary) to establish a new colony.
