Dusky Thrush Pecks at Nook and Cranny of Mossy Stonewall in Mid Winter

A Dusky thrush (Turdus eunomus, family Turdidae) foraging for food such as grass seeds and overwintering bugs as it traversed the snowcapped stonewall of a moat. You can hear it calling during the meal (1:07-). And the winter bird defecated at the stonewall (2:51-). Captured in the cloudy midafternoon (around 14:15 PM) of late-February 2025 in Japan.
