തകഴി, നെടുമുടി പഞ്ചായത്തുകളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ച് പമ്പാ നദിക്ക് കുറുകെ നിർമ്മിച്ച പടഹാരം പാലം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയൻ നാടിന് സമർപ്പിച്ചു. കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യ ഇരുനില പാലമാണിത്. മുകളിൽ റോഡും സ്പാനുകൾക്ക് താഴെ നടപ്പാതയും. കേരളീയ വാസ്തുശിൽപമാതൃക അനുസരിച്ച് പണിത എട്ട് വാച്ച് ടവറുകളുണ്ട്. അവിടെയിരുന്ന് കുട്ടനാടൻ പാടശേഖരങ്ങളുയേും പൂകൈതയാറിന്റെയും ഭംഗി ആസ്വദിക്കാം. കിഫ്ബി പിന്തുണയോടെയാണ് പാലം പണിതത്. കുട്ടനാടിന്റെ ടൂറിസം സാധ്യതകൾക്ക് പാലം മുതൽക്കൂട്ടാകുമെന്ന് ടൂറിസം, പൊതുമരാമത്ത് മന്ത്രി പി എ മുഹമ്മദ് റിയാസം പറഞ്ഞു. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugrated Padaharam Bridge, constructed across the Pamba River connecting Thakazhi and Nedumudi panchayats. This unique structure marks a first for Kerala, featuring a motorable road on top and a dedicated pedestrian pathway built beneath the spans. Visitors can soak in the breathtaking beauty of the Kuttanad paddy fields and the serene Pookaitha River from eight watchtowers integrated into the bridge.
