Well the same creator behind that one just came back and made another playable recreation of The Lion’s Mouth from Myths of Tubbyland. I’m calling this The Lion’s Mouth V3 because technically this is now the third playable fan recreation of the song, and honestly… this is easily the best one so far. The animations are super smooth, the sprites are really clean and especially the “I’m the Scary Lion” part actually looks really good. In this video I’ll be playing the new V3 version and comparing it directly with the older V2 recreation to see how much better this one turned out. About the song The Lions Mouth. Sanco just released the official sequel song called The Lion’s Mouth and this one goes insanely hard. In this new song, The Guardian enters the Satellite Station and encounters Headless Dipsy… well not exactly Headless Dipsy anymore because now we got this fanon design where The Scary Lion is attached directly onto his neck. The song itself is crazy. Instead of the screaming sounds from Nocturnal Protocol, now we got chainsaw sounds and honestly that alone makes this feel completely different. I already know whenever the official visualizer drops it’s gonna be peak af. Both Nocturnal Protocol and The Lion’s Mouth are OST songs for Myths of Tubbyland and with how popular both songs already are, this honestly feels like it’s becoming the most anticipated Slendytubbies FNF mod ever. If Nocturnal Protocol was already amazing then The Lion’s Mouth somehow pushed things even further. The music is insane, the horror atmosphere is beautiful and fanmade recreations keep improving ridiculously fast. Seeing this much effort from the community this early just makes me even more hyped for what Myths of Tubbyland will become. This new V3 recreation honestly blew me away and at this point I genuinely think it’s the best playable version of The Lion’s Mouth we have right now. Absolute peak and one of the coolest FNF horror projects happening right now.
