Some days in July were so gloomy and wet that he barely made a single unit of electricity; a massive difference to the long, bright days of summer. This meant that after months of not paying a cent for electricity, May and June saw the arrival of those long-dreaded winter power bills. With these bills in mind, and with solar production in winter now being around 60% lower than summer, Gav bares all to see if getting solar is still worth it.
