Striking B.C. nurses expand picket lines to Vancouver Island

B.C. nurses expanded their job action to picket lines across Vancouver Island on Sunday, as contract negotiations remain deadlocked over issues like staffing, violence prevention, and pay. The provincial government has appointed two independent arbitrators to work with both sides to seek a resolution.
