If you’re visiting Rome in the winter, don’t miss the Pantheon at night. After dark, the crowds thin out, the lights come on, and you can actually stop and take it in. No ticket needed. No waiting. Just one of Rome’s most impressive monuments, quietly sitting in the historic center. It’s one of my favorite evening stops during the winter months and an easy add to a nighttime walk after dinner.
