St. Louis County police are providing an update on a 5-year-old girl who was abducted out of Affton. Anyone with information should call 911.
Police in St. Louis County said 5-year-old Aleise Dawson was taken at about 8 a.m. from the 8900 block of New Hampshire Avenue in a stolen vehicle.
The girl was in the vehicle when her guardian went inside and returned to find both the child and vehicle missing, police said. The vehicle has since been recovered a couple of blocks away at the Madaford Garden apartment complex, but the child remains missing.
Dawson was described as a Black girl who is 2-foot-6 and 60 pounds with hair in four ponytails. She was last seen wearing a pink "Flower Power" T-shirt and blue shorts.
