New Zealand jungle bush trail ASMR. This video is NOT a regular "adventure video" but raw footage of a nature walk in the New Zealand jungle. I watched it on the big screen with the boy & he said "Hey this is like one of those ASMR videos!" So I looked up the meaning & figured it "kinda" applies. The story and event surrounding this clip is that I went for an early morning walk following the razorback ridge from where we were guests camping, up to what I hoped was the peak. Because it is so drastically different than my Northern Alberta Canada home, I wanted to capture it. It's early in the morning, so I was speaking quietly which is not ideal to listen to. In the end, what happened, is I made it to the top, and inadvertently took the wrong path back down and ended up on a different set of hills. Once I discovered I was indeed lost with no ability to navigate or way to identify the proper trail, I stopped recording to preserve my phone battery. I will soon post that video as "Lost in a New Zealand Jungle" - or something similar, but this footage is too long to include in its entirety in that video. I KNEW only 1 fact, which was that I knew everything to my right while on the way down would be inhabited, and that I indeed WAS on that side of the trail from the cabin. So I made my way back down towards inhabited land. I expected that it would likely take the entirety of the day to find my way down and out, but managed to do so by mid morning. Thanks for watching.
