We travelled over 5,000 miles / 8,000 km and drove across Japan chasing a memory — the steamy, rich bowl of Fukuoka tonkotsu ramen that first made us fall in love with this city. From tiny backstreets and red torii gates to the smell of broth and sesame in the air, we retrace our steps through Fukuoka’s soul — only to find that the ramen shop we came for... isn’t serving tonkotsu anymore. 😅 But that’s travel, right?
